“Fantastic Experience”
My wife and I booked the balloon trip as a bucket list check off while in the wine country. She being a little subject to fear of heights and motion sickness was to say the least apprehensive. We must report
100%, without a doubt this 1 Hour 18 min ride was not to be missed. NO MOTION, no feelings of uneasiness, just a pure adrenaline rush! Jim our captain was great, answered all questions during our flight and afterwards at the brunch back at the Calistoga Inn. A+ for Jim at making all of us ( there were 11 passengers - plenty of room though) at ease. One point that lead us to this outfitter over others was the office lady advising that they had a second flight area in case of fog over Calistoga, which there was. All 11 decided to fly at the optional site, no one had any complaints! Top notch outfitter, GREAT PILOT!, Good food.. is there anything else you could expect? I did want a polo style shirt like the pilot was wearing but they did not sell them! Maybe next trip! TIP: The burners are HOT.. you need a hat! Also a pair of binoculars would have been nice!

From the moment we looked at the website, we knew that we were in safe hands, as it was very professional and allowed us to see the exact dates that were available. Critically, we were also given formal confirmation that it was all going ahead. Upon arriving at the meeting point, we were greeted by exceptionally friendly ad knowledgeable staff, who made the whole experience truly unforgettable. Every little detail was taken care of, from the commentary from our pilot, Jim, to the sensational brunch that followed. Even Jim's anecdotes were timed just right to keep the mood of the basket jolly. To see the vineyards from a totally different perspective has truly ticked one of life's little boxes, and if we were to give a tip for anyone wishing to travel with this excellent company, all we would say is make sure you don't overdress for the occasion, as it gets hot up there! We can thoroughly recommend Calistoga Balloons to anyone wishing to experience to tranquil joy of balloon flight, with excellent service along the way.

“Highlight of Calistoga trip”
Our balloon ride with Bob Allen was phenomenal. Bob is great fun to be with. Your safety is always his greatest concern. Enjoy the view from 2000 feet, and after the flight have brunch at the Calistoga Inn.
